Cal State Channel Islands welcomes applications from transfer students. You are considered a transfer student if you’ve enrolled at a community college or university. CSUCI accepts both upper-division and lower-division transfer students.
Spring 2027 — Applications Are Open
We are accepting applications from all lower- and upper-division transfer students.
- Nursing majors: No Spring admits
- All other non-impacted majors: Final deadline is Oct. 30, 2026
Fall 2026 — Late Applications
- Applications are closed for Fall 2026 and we are only accepting late applications on a case-by-case basis. If you're still interested in applying, please schedule a virtual appointment with one of our admissions counselors.
Fall 2027 — Apply Starting October 1
We begin accepting applications for Fall 2027 from all lower- and upper-division transfer students on Oct. 1, 2026.
- Nursing majors: Apply by Nov. 30, 2026
- All other non-impacted majors: Apply by the priority deadline on Jan. 15, 2027
